Autocomplete does'nt render list supplied by data page in Ipad

Summary



The configuration of the Autocomplete allow the selection of a data page.

At run-time the data page is loaded with the results but user noticed that it is not displayed, even if entering specific value present in list.

It works fine in a browser but not in the Hybrid app. The problem exists on an iPad.

Hybrid Container iPad 2 – iOS 9.3.5 but have also tested on iPad Air 2 – iOS 10.2 and Andriod 6.0.1 (all hybrid clients).



Error Messages



There is no error message displayed. When you start typing, the work 'Use' appears with the typed text.

No results are displayed.


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a section.
  2. Add an autocomplete control to the section. The source of the autocomplete should be a data page of any size.
  3. Use the default setting of the autocomplete. Must be run on a hybrid client.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
ResultsCount size calculation is wrong in autocompleag.js file.



Resolution



Apply HFix-31746.
