Autocomplete loads incorrectly in collapsible layouts

SA-12538

Summary

When multiple autocomplete controls are included in collapsible layout (EXPANDED ON LOAD unchecked) and all of them are mapped with some report definition, during runtime, all of the autocomplete controls contain the same data.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a section with a collapsible layout (EXPANDED ON LOAD unchecked).
2. Include a dynamic layout with an autocomplete control (say AutoCom1) within this collapsible layout and map this (AutoCom1) with a report definition (say RD1).
3. Include another dynamic layout with 2 autocompletes (AutoCom2 and AutoCom3) within this collapsible layout and map this (AutoCom2) with RD1 and AutoCom3 with RD2.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. The "RenderSingle" parameter that is used to load the grid containing the information attached to an autocomplete control is the same for all the autocompletes. This occurs because the pyCellId is empty in the case where the layout is collapsed on load.

Resolution

This issue is resolved through the following local-change:

1. Place the autocompletes in separate sections.
2. Include these sections in the layout that is collapsed on load.
