Error Messages

There was a problem getting a list: code: -302 SQLState: 22001 Message: The value of a host variable in the EXECUTE or OPEN statement is out of range for its corresponding use.. SQLCODE=-302, SQLSTATE=22001, DRIVER=4.25.23

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to the Sales Automation for HealthCare 8.4 application as a sales representative.
  2. Click Contacts.
  3. Create a Contact.
  4. Enter the necessary details along with a value for the 'Report To' field.
  5. Click Create.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
The Obj-Browse step in the PegaCRM-Entity-Contact.crmValidateReportsTo activity failed because it attempted to check if the pyID was equal to Primary.ReportsTo. The ReportsTo value was a pzInsKey and would be too long for the pyID column. The pyID field is not required in the Obj-Browse step in the crmValidateReportsTo activity.

Resolution

Apply HFix-65768.
