Cannot select application when creating new requirement

Summary



User is unable to select the underlying framework layer application, when creating a new requirement from application's profile landing page. 

"Add/Edit specification" screen allows the user to select underlying framework layer application, but "Add/Edit requirement" screen does NOT allow as the targeting application for which the new requirement should belong. This inconsistent behavior between "Add/Edit specification" and "Add/Edit requirement" screen triggers confusions and bad user experiences among end users.

Steps to Reproduce



1. Navigate to Designer Studio > Application > Profile landing page.
2. Create a new requirement from implementation layer.
3. The screen does NOT allow the user to select underlying framework layer application as the target application.


Root Cause



This is a missed out feature in the product.

Resolution



Install the HF ix-25198.

This feature is expected to be included in the Pega
7.2.1 release.
