Summary

 

When attempting to set column widths in the report designer, the settings do not seem to apply.

When Name column is set to 50% width, the change is reflected on the working preview of the report but not when it is saved.

Steps to Reproduce

Attempt to configure column widths for a report definition.

Root Cause

From Pega 7.1.7 onwards, grids are used to display report data. The grid will accommodate the columns based on the availability of space rather than being forced to a specific width. If there are longer values in the first column, then the width will increase as required.

Resolution

Improvements to reporting to better handle column width is scheduled to be included in Pega 7.2.
