Steps to Reproduce
- Open a non-working work object
- Click Edit Details option of the assignment
- Click the Save button in the assignment
- Click the Next button
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. A When condition is present to display the Delete button on a Pulse post. This condition must be evaluated on the Context page (in this case, the Work page). In this scenario, when multiple Pulse posts exist in the WorkObject, the pyWorkPage is replaced with a fresh copy from the database and any update on the current Work page is lost. Hence, the logic is changed to create the page only if it does not already exist on the thread. As per the previous implementation, the Context page is created 'always'.
Resolution
This issue was reported as a bug to be remediated in Pega 8.1.4 and Pega 8.1.6 patch releases.
