Case step name placeholders are not localized

SA-42533

Summary

In Pega Express, with language pack installed, adding a case type, case stepname(s) placeholders are not localized.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch Pega Express.
  2. Add a case type or open existing one.
  3. Add new step.
  4. Observe the step placeholder name.

Root Cause

This issue was determined to be a product enhancement request: After calling getLocalizedTextForString from pzGenerateTextInput, method is returning un-localized value because method is trying to extract the value from property present in field value but fails to localize the extracted value.

Currently localizing the property value which is accessed at field value is not yet implemented.

Resolution

An enhancement request, FDBK-20894, has been created for consideration by Pega Product Management.
