ChainingIndeterminateGoal error occurs and the test case fails when processing the declarative.


Error Messages



Fail: ChainingIndeterminateGoal (unknown page) .pyResultingPages(temp_ORG_FW_Work).Product.URL top level page is classless


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Pick an activity.
  2. Reference a page which has a property with a Declare Expression defined. When the page is referenced, the Declare Expression is triggered.
  3. Capture a test case and execute it.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. Pega 7.2.2 has a new Automated Unit Test (AUT) for activity wihch can handle this use case.


Resolution



Perform the following local-change to run the test case:

Modify the declarative processing such that it does not use the 'Execute this Expression' with 'Regardless of any pages it is contained in'.

Alternatively, update to Pega 7.2.2.
