Summary
Client Side Validation Not Firing in Grid.
Users have configured a grid in a harness that has client-side validation enabled. Within that grid, uses have an input of property type integer. When inputting an alphabetic character in the input, users’ expectation would be that users would see a client-side validation error message stating that <value> is not a valid integer value.

Configure a grid with an input of type integer
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules: BUG-186707.
Resolution
This issue is scheduled to be resolved in Maintenance Level (ML) release - Pega 7.1.8.
