Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a tree grid with a fixed header.
2. Expand the tree, and observe change in the width of the displayed data.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules:
When the fixed header option is used, the header is generated in a separate DIV from the grid data. The header DIV is not resized when the width of the tree grid columns change on expanding the tree nodes.

Resolution

Perform any one of the following local-changes:

• Use the Pixel (Fit Content) width option for the grid.
• Use pzEllipsis control for data cells.
