You observe that copy/paste of activity steps is not working for the same activity or across different activities.

Steps to Reproduce
- Copy a step from one activity
- Paste the copied step into another step in that same activity.
- Paste the copied step into a different activity.
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in Pega 7.1.8.
