CSS Referencing for Harness does not work

SA-11884

Summary

Two custom CSS files are applied to CPM Interaction portal Harness. The desired user interface (UI) changes are not reflected even when the required CSS files in the harness are referenced.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a custom CSS file with some custom CSS class specific to a section.
2. Refer it in the CPM Interaction portal Harness.
3. Open CPM Interaction portal.
4. Navigate to the screen for which the custom styles were defined in custom CSS file referenced in the harness.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

The stylesheet CS icons attached to the skin CPMML6 contains a @charset "UTF-8"; declaration that causes issues during CSS generation.

@charset declaration of UTF-8 is unnecessary as the Pega server is already configured to serve UTF-8 content.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in new release CPM 7.1.4.
