Summary

User has modified the pyCaseSummary section, and changed the date time format for Goal and Deadline to 01/01/01 01:00 AM .
Required behavior is to change the Date format according to user locale.

The date format is not reflecting according to user locale only in pyCaseSummary section. Rest of the places date format is working fine

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the pyCaseSummary section and change the Goal and Deadline date formats to 01/01/01 01:00 AM.
2. Change Operator ID, "Locale" value to "en_GB"(this locale for UK).
3. At runtime,date format should be dd/MM/yyyy HH:MM. It is showing 01/01/01 01:00 AM

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules : The scenario is, if user is having LAYOUT GROUP with tab format or TAB Layout then the date format is not showing in expected locale format. Let us say, there is TAB 1 and TAB 2. If TAB 1 has any date field with custom read only format then TAB 2 Date fields format is displaying wrong.

This is not happening if we change the tab positions TAB2 in place of TAB1.

Rule
RULE-UTILITY-FUNCTION PZCONTROL PZGENERATEFORMAT is modified to clear the custom date format.

Resolution

Apply HFix-29413.
