DSM health monitoring for pega cloud

Summary



In Pega 7.1.7, Admin requested improved monitoring for DSM components such as D-Node, VBD and ADM. There is no way to automate the health check of these components.

Root Cause



This feature/capability was not available in the Pega 7.1.7 GA release. 


Resolution



Apply HFix-24496, which allows users to call the DSM Services and check their status using following URLs -

http://<your_host_name>:<your_port_number>/prweb/PRHTTPService/DataDecisionDNodeClusterInfo/Services/DNodeHealthCheck
http://<your_host_name>:<your_port_number>/prweb/PRHTTPService/DataDecisionDNodeClusterInfo/Services/DNodeStatus
http://<your_host_name>:<your_port_number>/prweb/PRHTTPService/DataDecisionDNodeClusterInfo/Services/DSMServicesHealthCheck
