Duplicate assignments in 7.14 release of Smart Dispute



When retrieving an assignment using the "Next Assignment" link, the assignment that opens is the one that was just completed.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a dispute for Paid by other means
  2. Process Chargeback. Item goes to Chargeback Approval assignment as expected
  3. Log in as a Manager user to process the assignment
  4. If opened from the workbasket, the correct approval screen is displayed
  5. If opened using the "Next Assignment" link, you get the Examine Chargeback requirements screen
  6. On submit, it goes to the Process Chargeback, again
  7. Submitting here goes to approval, but tells the user that they cannot approve their own chargeback and shows two completed chargeback assignments and two approvals

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.


The fix for this issue will be part of Smart Dispute 7.15 release.
