Error on Export to Excel for report definition with custom Date

Summary
Error displays on the screen when performing 'Export to Excel' for any report definition with a custom Date column.
Error Messages
There has been issue; please consult your system administrator.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a report definition with a custom Date column.
- Execute the report.
- From the Actions menu, select the Export to Excel function.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
The issue is in the processing of the controls which backed a cell in a report when exporting to Excel. For controls such as, 'Date Only' DateTime (non-autogenerated), the code does not generate a valid string.
Resolution
This feature is implemented in Pega Platform 8.1.7.
