Error on logging in to Pega application

Summary
Error displays on logging in to the Pega application when the Authentication rule is configured with the OpenID. The Client secret must not be present in the Authentication rule which is to be passed. The Arbitrary client secret which is a mandatory field in Pega, is used while testing. However, the dummy client secret caused failures.
Error Messages
{"error":"invalid_client","error_description":"MSIS9623: Received invalid Client credentials. The OAuth client is not configured to authenticate using passed in client credentials."}
Steps to Reproduce
- Create Authentication Service with the OpenID connect protocol
- Enter an arbitrary value to the Client secret which is a mandatory field in the Authentication rule
- Sign in to the Pega application using the OpenId login URL
Root Cause
This issue was determined to be a product enhancement request.
Resolution
An enhancement request, FDBK-30655, is created for consideration by Pega Product Management.
