Summary



In the Chrome browser, events to collapse the menu bar are not triggered.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Click tab list to extend the drop down list (triangle icon).
  2. Select a tab.


Root Cause



A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment.

A touch-enabled laptop, Touch API conflicts with Mouse click API. When touch is enabled, mouse events do not work correctly.



Resolution



Perform the following local-change:
  1. Open Chrome and type 'chrome://flags'.
  2. Disable the Touch Events API.
  3. Restart the Chrome browser.
