Steps to Reproduce
- Configure the question rule to use double quotes in the display value field
- Run the flow containing the question
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. When the question rule has double quotes in the display value field, a NullPointerException occurs when the flow containing the question is run.
Resolution
The issue is resolved by using single quotes instead of double quotes in the display value field of the question rule. The issue with double quotes will be addressed in PegaSurvey 7.1.3.
