Summary
File Listeners do not start on one node in SMA.
Error Messages
ERROR File.FileListenerName operatorname - Unexpected exception caught during processing.
java.lang.Exception: Unable to create 'work' directory followed by folder path
Steps to Reproduce
- Start File Listeners from the list of available listeners
- Check the running list of listeners
Root Cause
An issue in the custom application code or rules. The directory configured in the file listener, does not exist.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
- Create the required directory.
- Configure the necessary permissions on the directory
