Filtering does'nt work when selected item has special characters

Summary
Data does not display on selecting and filtering an item with special characters (such as parenthesis '()') on the column level.
This occurs for a repeating grid with page list through the Report Browser.

Steps to Reproduce
- Open the work object.
- Navigate to the Order hierarchy.
- Click the Technical Position tab.
- Perform a Filter on the Product column.
- Select work items which have parenthesis (for example, ZD (HW-Token)).
- Click Submit.
Root Cause
In the Column properties, Filter by Format was selected instead of Select Value by Filter.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change in the Column properties of the grid: Select Value as an option in the 'Filter by'.
