Grammatical error in ancillary question for RC 30

Summary



You enter RC 30 and enter the text for MerchandiseLocation: "Where is the merchandise currently?".
If you enter more than 2000 characters, a validation error message is displayed.

It states, 'Text input cannot exceeds 2000 character', which is incorrect.
It must state, that the, 'Text input cannot exceed 2000 characters'. The 's' in the word 'exceeds' must be removed and the same must get appended to the word 'character'.

Steps to Reproduce



1. Create a Case.
2. Select reason code 30.
3. "Where is the merchandise currently? - Fill the answer for this to be more than 2000 characters.


Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. Typographic error in validation message.

Resolution



Issue is resolved with HFix-21580.
