Grid sorting is not applied properly

Summary
When user clicks on grid header for sorting in a page, sorting is not happening and screen refreshes and goes back to the previous page

Steps to Reproduce
1. Configure a grid with data page (with Edit option set to Read-Only) and with pagination ON.
2. Click on header for sorting in the second page, sorting is not happening and screen refreshes and goes back to screen one or first page.
Root Cause
An issue in the custom application code or rules.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
In the data page, change the Edit option to Editable.
An editable page loads only once upon first reference and continues to use the same data upon subsequent references.
This allows user to modify the page without worrying about overwriting the data.
This is the reason why data is sorted even in all the pages.
