Steps to Reproduce
- Log in to the application
- Open FoxtelNBAAPortal
Root Cause
A software use or operation error.
The toolbar at the top of the portal is added in Pega 7.3 and 7.3.1 versions. In Pega 7.4, the toolbar is designed as a floating icon at the bottom right of the screen.
Resolution
Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:
The new runtime toolbar is displayed if both Live UI and Agile Workbench are enabled in the access group. If only one of them is enabled, then a floating icon is used.
Perform the following local-change to disable the runtime toolbar in the application:
Save the pyEnableRuntimeToolbar When rule and set the When rule to false in the application.
To disable Live UI and Agile workbench:
Live UI is enabled by the access group if it has the privilege 'pxUIInspector' set as baseclass. This is the case for the following out-of-the-box access roles:
- PegaRULES:AppArchitect
- PegaRULES:SysAdm4
- PegaRULES:SysArch4
- PegaRULES:TenantAdmin
Agile Workbench is enabled by the access group if it has the privilege 'pxAgileWorkbench' set as baseclass. This is the case for the following out-of-the-box access roles:
- PegaRULES:AppArchitect
- PegaRULES:SysAdm4
- PegaRULES:SysArch4
- PegaRULES:TenantAdmin
- PegaRULES:WorkMgr4
Open the access roles in the access group and search for pxUIInspector and pxAgileWorkbench privileges in baseclass. Remove them to disable Live UI and Agile workbench respectively.
