Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the pyGeolocationTrackingIsEnabled When rule (Data-Portal class).
  2. Save As the rule to the application's ruleset.
  3. Change the When condition to always return false (for example, true != true).
  4. Click Save.

Root Cause

The changes suggested in the article restrict the popup from the base Pega application.
When CRMSFA application is installed, the pyGeolocationTrackingIsEnabled When rule from PegaCRM-SFA rulset is invoked. The out-of-the-box version of the WHEN rule evaluates to true. Hence, the popup displays.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:
  1. Open the pyGeolocationTrackingIsEnabled When rule.
  2. Change the condition to return false as below.

  3. Clean the browser cache.
  4. Start a new session.
  5. Save As the pyGeolocationTrackingIsEnabled When rule from PegaCRM-SFA rulset to the application ruleset and apply the changes as earlier.
