How to set password control into the existing PRServlet

SA-9678

Summary

Developer wants to know the strong password policy for Pega 5.5 and how to incorporate this password control into the existing PRServlet rather than using a new URL.

Resolution

The explanation for this behavior is as follows:
The security policy landing page, new in 6.2 sp2, is the only way to get support for this for PRServlet.  Prior to this requires custom authentication. It is possible to modify the settings for PRServlet in the deployment descriptor to use custom authentication.  Another servlet would then have to be added to replace PRServlet if needed.
