IAC gadget fails with browser cookie enabled message

Summary



IAC gadget fails with browser cookie-enabled message. This issue occurs with Chrome and Firefox, but not with Internet Explorer.

We have two gadgets in our application that are loaded from different URLS. If you first navigate to the "Registration" gadget, and then navigate to the "Profile" gadget, the Profile gadget fails and displays the message "Browser cookies must be enabled for Pega IAC to function."


Error Messages



"Browser cookies must be enabled for PRPC Internet Application Composer to function."


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use two gadgets in the application loaded from different URLs.
  2. Navigate to Registration gadget.
  3. Navigate to Profile gadget.

Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
