Summary

Issue with Mobile logging in offline. Pega Mobile Application generated as the Custom Hybrid App and then deployed in iPhone is not working.

Steps to Reproduce

Users have developed the Pega Mobile Application and generated the Custom Hybrid App and deployed in iPhone. Alos enabled the Offline configurations in the Mobile Landing Page(CaseTypes, Access Groups and DataPages). Users used the Pega Mobile Offline Supported Controls and Events.

But after login to the application and disconnecting the internet, when they try to create the case or access the datapage it is not working in Offline mode.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error

Upon debugging we could observe that the users have customized web-login file. Significant part of offline feature code has been removed from web-login rule.

In custom Web-Login, there is no call going to start the synchronization process.

Resolution

Lot of parameters/api calls were missing in the custom version. Requested user to just modify only UI of login screen without modification of PRPC internal logic. While debugging checked that the OOTB Web-Login was working as expected.
