Summary



JAWS interprets field level error messages twice.
Pega accessibility application is used with Internet Explorer and JAWS 14.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure a required field in a form.
  2. Submit the form without filling the field.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Title attribute with the error message has a value and is added to the Dynamic error DIV. Hence, JAWS reads both the title and the value.



Resolution



Apply HFix-45719.
