Jobs run one hour before the expected time

Summary

User configures the Job Scheduler rules with a daily schedule with a certain start time in the Production environment. However, the jobs run one hour before the expected time.

For example,
If the user schedules a job at 1:00 AM. The system runs the scheduled job at 0:00AM.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new Job scheduler with the parameters, Schedule - Daily, Every - 1 Day, Start Time - 1:00:00 AM and Time Zone - Europe/Rome
  2. Deploy the new Job scheduler to the Production environment. The next run of the job is set to an hour before the expected time on the Admin Studio


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. 
 

Resolution



This issue is addressed in Pega 8.1.8. 

Alternatively,
Perform the following local-change:
Restart the cluster.
