Lack access required to execute DATA-ADMIN- LOOKUPLIST activity

Summary



User is on Pega 7.2.1 and has reported the below security access error:

In PRPC 6.2 , the code in Data-Admin-Operator-ID TriggerCheckCache activity calls LookupList activity which is in @baseclass.

The "Authenticate?" option in security tab for this activity present in @baseclass is unchecked.

But in Pega 7.2.1, the code in Data-Admin-Operator-ID TriggerCheckCache activity calls LookupList activity which is in Data-Admin- class.

​The "Require Authentication To Run" option for this activity is checked which is causing this issue.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create an Operator ID record from a SOAP service using a model operator record.
  2. In EstablishOperator activity, while doing a Obj-Save of the new Operator ID record the system throws the reported error message.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules is identified as root cause for the issue.

Resolution



Apply HFix-31257.
