Migrate.sh script asking for parameters

SA-8110

Summary

You see that the documentation for the PRPC upgrade (Single to Split schema configuration) indicates the migration.sh script should not ask for any arguments. But the migrate.sh script which is extracted from the Pega 7.1.7 package is asking for options when you execute the script.

Error Messages

No arguments specified.
PegaBulkMover.sh [options...]

Options:
unload
Directs the utility to unload the tables as identified in the PegaBulkMover.properties File

load
Directs the utility to load the tables as identified in the PegaBulkMover.properties File

--propertyFile
Identifies the argument after this as the property file name to use for the PegaBulkMover
utility. The file path is the same path as the default PegaBulkMover properties file.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Extract Pega 7.1.7 package
2. Update required configuration and Execute migrate.sh

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. An initial version of the PRPC 7.1.7 upgrade media had an older version of the script which required parameters.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in update  7 (current version).
