MQ integration with IMB MQ fails

Summary



User has external IBM MQ installed and has created MQ integration in PRPC. During testing connectivity of the MQ Server rule, it fails with the below error.

Error Messages



Required classes are not available. Please check the configuration.
Error Details:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.ibm.mq.MQEnvironment

Steps to Reproduce



1) Install IBM MQ.
2) Create an MQ connector.
3) Configure MQ server
4) Test Connectivity of MQ server

Root Cause



Environmental: All the required third-party MQ client JAR files were not installed / available to the PRPC ClassLoader.

Resolution



Imported the following JAR files to the PegaRULES database schema using Developer portal > Import archive wizard.

 
  1. com.ibm.mq.commonservices.jar
  2. com.ibm.mq.headers.jar
  3. com.ibm.mq.jar
  4. com.ibm.mq.pcf.jar
  5. com.ibm.mq.jmqi.jar
  6. connector.jar
  7. dhbcore.jar
  8. fscontext.jar
  9. jms.jar
  10. com.ibm.mqjms.jar
