Multi Select list not getting saved in the IE Browser

Summary

User is not able to save the value of the selected element when multiselect control is used inside a grid.

Not Applicable.

Create a grid
Put a multi select inside a section
Put the section inside the grid
At runtime, add multiple row and select multiple values from each of the multi select elements
Save the work item and close it.

Now open it again only to see that the previously selected items of the multiselect has not been saved.

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. In pega_ui_multiselect.js file ;createElement() is throwing error.

HFIX-21148 resolves the issue.
