Multipe PEGA0042 alerts generated in the logs

SA-83040

Summary

Pega Marketing 7.31 is installed on Pega Platform 7.3.1.
When using RealTime containers in a Campaign to interact with users, multiple PEGA0042 alerts occur for QueuePaidMediaExecution which is invoked for all the requests to the containers.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure a Campaign with RealTime Containers (RTC).
  2. Execute the Campaign.
  3. Create an external request to the RTC. During the activity call, PEGA0042 alerts are generated in the logs.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

The alerts occurred because the QueuePaidMediaExecution was triggered during a container execution, even when the container was not from the Next Best Action (NBA). In the QueuePaidMediaExecution, the configuration page was opened with incorrect keys when the container that was executed was associated to a campaign.

Resolution

Apply HFix-53930.
