Outlook Add-in form is empty in Outlook 2010

Summary



Pega Sales Automation 7.14 on Pega 7.2.2, user installed the "Pega Sales Automation Outlook Plugin" (from<MEDIA>\Install\Optional\PegaSalesAutomationOutlook2010AddIn).
The Plugin installed correctly and user is able to login; but the Plugin simply shows the word 'GOOD' instead of displaying the Portal.


Error Messages



No error messages, but following screenshot shows the issue: (right-hand side panel, displaying the word 'GOOD').


Steps to Reproduce



1. Install Plugin (as per the notes; several restarts of Outlook are necessary to complete the process).
2. Start Outlook 2010.
3. Click 'ADD INS' tab.
4. Select 'Login' from the Plugin; provide correct credentials in the Login Box.
5. Note that the Pega Side panel shows "GOOD".


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Resolution



Upgrading to "Pega Sales Automation" version 7.22 and installing the newer Plugin (from <MEDIA>\ResourceKit\PegaForOutlook) fixes the issue.
