Steps to Reproduce
Generate a PDF using HTMLToPDF activity. The pd4fonts.properties file is generated.
Root Cause
The pd4fonts.properties file is created every time a PDF is generated. As a result, performance degrades due to the presence of multiple TTF files in the fonts folder.
In this scenario, a large number of PDFs are created in the background. Therefore, a large number of fonts are required to support all the PDFs. Since the properties file is created each time, performance degrades when generating PDFs.
Resolution
An enhancement request FDBK-26490, is created for consideration by Pega Product Management.
