Pega 7.1.5- Rule Checkin Warning/alert Issue

Summary



Consider a rule is present in higher ruleset version say 01-02-90 and the same rule is present in lower ruleset version say 01-01-50, if someone is working on that rule lower in lower version and when he does the check-in till 6.X version we used to get alert stating this rule is present in higher version.

This feature I am not able to see in Pega 7.1.5, could you please provide any HotFix /fix this issue.

Steps to Reproduce



1.Consider a rule is present in higher version say 01-01-80.
2.Create a rule with the same name in the lower version say 01-02-01.
3.Now checkout the lower version of rule to make some changes and try to do a check-in.
4.No prompt message saying the rule is already present in higher version of rulesets.


Root Cause



This feature is made available from the Pega 7.1.7 versions.

Resolution



This issue is resolved in Pega 7.1.7 version where the user gets an alert saying "This rule is already present in higher version of rule-set, only the higher version of rules will be considered"
