PIV Performance issues with loading images



Can take over 30 seconds to display images in the Pega Image Viewer.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is defect/misconfiguration in the PRPC operating environment. 

According the the Pega Image Viewer logs it was taking a long time to get images from the image server. To enable Pega Image Viewer logging simply create a file on the end user deskop call "piv.log". Once the file is there log message will be written there.


This issue is resolved by making the following change to the PRPC operating environment.

This was not related to Pega Image Viewer but the image server, research and full resolution to done by resources at client site.
