Product rule class query not returning all instances
SA-42872
Summary
When creating a Product rule and used the individual instance query function to select data instances to be included in the Product rule, the query is returning only a small number of the instances available.
For example, for PegaRULES:SysAdm4 role, there should be 32 instances of Rule-Access-Role-Obj (RARO) for this role, but if user specify Rule-Access-Role-Obj as the class name in the Product rule Individual Instance to Select input, click Query and then filter on the Name column using "PegaRULES:SysAdm4", then user can only see 10 entries.
Any missing entries have to be typed manually into the Product rule, making migration job difficult.
Error Messages
Not Applicable
Steps to Reproduce
1. Create a Product Rule/RAP to migrate to other environment, using Records > SysAdmin > Product > Create.
2. In the Product Rule, under Individual instances to include, provide "Rule-Access-Role-Obj" as input and click Query. The number of records present in Records>Security>Access Of Role to Object are more and they are not displaying on click of query.
Root Cause
"pzQueryClassInstance" activity is called when user performs a query on the class "RULE-ACCESS-ROLE-OBJ" where max record value is set to "500".
so, it is not fetching whole record and limiting it to 500.
Resolution
This is an expected behavior.
User can use "class instance to inclued" with when or list view filter, to get all the desired 32 RARO.
