Steps to Reproduce
Run a NBAM program with volume constraints enabled.
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is defect/misconfiguration in the operating environment.
On test running the Strategy from Designer Studio also displayed the same error. The strategy had a Strategy Set component that used a @(Pega-RULES:Math).divide function and using arguments from Customer class columns. Saving the Strategy autoruns it and uses pyDefault Data transform, the divide function throws a divide by Zero error because the divisor used by divide function is not set and the error message is set on the Strategy page.
Also when Volume constraints are used, the pxPriority must be a positive value.
Resolution
This issue is resolved through the following local-change:
Use a condition like “PropertyHasValue” as example below to check for value and set defaults in the expression, so that the divide function’s divisor argument is always non zero value. This avoids the error when saving the strategy rule.

For program run failure, The Segment criteria has adjusted in such a way that it only include Customers that do have a positive, non-zero value in the COLUMN_B column.
