Summary

Blank value properties on work object are not persisted on reopening the work object.
Have a work object with properties with blank values. Resolve this work object and reopen it. Observe that these blank value properties are not persisted on reopen.

Steps to Reproduce

 

1. Set P2 property to blank value in pyDefault data transform.


2. Before resolving the P2 property with blank value is present on clipboard.




(In the above screen shot you can see that P2 property on work object is not persisted on work object. This is the behavior reported in the SR as issue.

Root Cause

This is an expected behavior. PRPC does not serialize empty data. 

Resolution

This is an expected behavior. PRPC does not serialize empty data. 
Properties P1 and P2 have empty data and are thus not serialized. 
In this case user sees P1 back in the pyWorkPage because it is accessed again by the field in DisplayHarness.
