PRPC 5.3 SP2 compatibility issues with IE 11 browser

Summary
An application running PRPC 5.3 SP2, using IE 11 has compatibility or rendering issues.
Turning on Compatibility view or Enterprise mode, switch the document mode to Quirks and the UI renders better.
However, some specific features still have issues on IE11. In this case, scrolling through a list view causes the browser to freeze.

Steps to Reproduce
Using IE11 on PRPC 5.3 SP2 and attempt to scroll through a list view.
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is a compatibility issue with PRPC and IE 11.
Resolution
In general, Quirks mode is necessary to render PRPC 5.3 applications properly in IE11. However all list views and summary views features may still not work upto a satisfactory level.
