Summary

While creating a Web Service from PRPC, the WSDL contains XML elements which have the attribute 'from' which should instead be 'form'.

Instead of <element form="qualified"...>, the generated WSDL has <element from="qualified" ...>

Steps to Reproduce

1. Import XSD.
2. Create a SOAP service rule.
3. Use parse XML and XML stream rules generated in step 1.
4. Generate WSDL from the application package.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Resolution

Apply HFix-24570.
