pyMetadata error when update option used for Parse/Stream rules

Summary



Developer is getting an error message while trying to update Parse and Stream XML rule using Accelerator.

Error Messages



Errors:
** .pyMetadata: ** Could not find any global element declarations in the referenced XML Schema document

Steps to Reproduce



1.Open the Stream XML rule
2.Click on Update
3.Follow the Accelerator step.
4.Error is coming on step-2.

Root Cause



The root cause of this issue was the incorrect or 
malformed XSD content in the txt file.

Reported issue did not manifest with the actual XSD file type. The developer informed that the some of the properties were recreated with prefix 2 even though the new Ruleset version was selected and they were able to resolve the duplicate properties behaviour.

Resolution



Incorrect or malformed XSD file used for updating the Parse and Stream XML rules. Usage of actual XSD file has helped resolve the issue.
