Repeating grids with expandable sections won't sort

Summary
A repeating layout is configured, referencing a list property, with sorting is enabled in all columns.
When opening the layout as an end user, sections can be refreshed but will not sort on the column.

Steps to Reproduce
1) Create a repeating layout with a reference to page list.
2) Include repeat grid section into other section reference to clipboard property
3) Double check with columns for 'Sorting' check mark to be enabled.
4) Go to the end user UI and click on a column header.
Root Cause
Defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules:
Clipboard property has Data Access option as "Refer to a Data Page" when the option "Refer to a Data Page" is used in property. Every interaction calls the data page and shows fresh data from data page for each click, instead of sorting previous data.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
Change the Clipboard property Data Access option from "Refer to a Data Page" to "Copy data from a data page" as shown in below screen print.
