Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Run a Summary type report definition.
  2. Use the Search feature with a screen reader.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules

Resolution

Choose one of the following options:
  • Upgrade to Pega 7.1.9 and use the shortcut keys Ctrl+F in your browser.
Starting with Pega 7.1.9, the Report Viewer Search feature has been removed because you can perform Report Viewer Search by pressing the shortcut keys Ctrl+F in your browser.
  • For Pega 7.1.8, apply HFix-24617.
The hotfix introduces a When rule for the Search icon in the pzFindTextOnPage section rule.
If the condition is true, the icon is visible.
The When rule can be overridden to hide the search icon, so that you can completely rely on the Ctrl+F shortcut in Internet Explorer.
