Search is not working in production



User is not able to perform search in production Pega application. It used to work and all of a sudden started to fail.

Caused by: connect timed out
        at Method)

Steps to Reproduce

 Perform search operation in user portal.

Root Cause

A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment.

Search is configured in one of the four nodes in production.

Other nodes are accessing the search node using SOAP calls. Since there was a communication issues between the nodes, SOAP calls are failing with the timeout error. telnet between the nodes was not working either.


Make the following change to the operating environment: 

Communication between the nodes is established in order to address the problem.
