SmartPrompt does not work when calling one activity from another

Summary
When you call an activity from another activity, the smart prompt parameters do not return any values in design mode.

Steps to Reproduce
- Create an activity with smart prompt parameters.
- Reference this activity in another and try to use the smartprompt.
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. The issue here is seen only when the Validate-As has set some value.
Resolution
This issue is scheduled to be addressed in Pega 7.1.8.
