SMTP Configuration Issue

Summary
Error encountered while testing the integration for an outbound email using Pega 6.3 SP1.
Error Messages
javax.mail.MessagingException: Can't send command to SMTP host;nested exception is: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset.
Steps to Reproduce
- Configure an outbound email.
- Test the connection.
Root Cause
Ensure that HFix-6859 is installed. STARTTLS was enabled.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
Create a Email/DisableSecuritySTARTTLS Dynamic System Setting (DSS) in the Pega-IntSvcs ruleset and set its value to true.
